Klaus von Maus

Klaus passed away on March 27, 2002, much to our regret.

Klaus was always the Master of His Domain, and maintain his dignity to the very last.

Klaus was born Oct. 23, 1990, in Yorkville, IL. His breeders were Kirk and Pat Carr. He came to live with us as Patty's Christmas present on Dec. 18, 1990. Klaus soon wiggled his way into Patty's heart, when he jumped between her and a full grown attacking Doberman during obedience school. He was  4 months old at the time. Klaus enjoyed being outside, going for walks, and spending time with his extended family. Klaus had his share of physical problems, but never lost his good humor and disposition. Klaus succumbed to a brief illness on March 27, 2002.

Klaus was a great ambassador for Rottweilers his whole life.  Klaus had many neighborhood friends that we did not even know about. He was our good friend and constant companion.  He was dignified, gentle, and noble to the very end.

"Our German forefathers had a very kind religion.  They believed that, after death they would meet again all the good dogs that had been their companions in life.  I wish I could believe that too"

Otto von Bismarck
