Down on the Farm

October 2025

With great sadness we have to report that on Monday October 20, Molly our current farm manager passed over the Rainbow Bridge.

Molly

We had 7 years of love, fun and a lot of bossing (by Molly) . She took her farm duties very seriously. She was our first Frenchie (Espaniel Breton) and EB was the perfect description for her. Extreme Brittany, her amps were always set at 11, and she wanted more Cowbell! She was a rescue from American Brittany Rescue, and we've loved all our Brittanies and Rotties.

Travel Status

We were set up to go on a Rhone River Cruise in April 2020, but that has been cancelled now due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We finally got to go on the trip in April 2023, we got to visit a French Cattle Ranch and meet a real French Cowboy! They raise fighting bulls, not dairy cows the tough little horse helps herd the bulls.

Profile

The Rottweiler Ranch is our farm, in Northwest Illinois. The origin of the name was from our original pet, Klaus, a perfect Rottweiler (Master of his Domain). We grow Corn/Soybeans and Hay on our farm. We do have a farm garden and orchard also for our own consumption. Klaus, Kelley and Jack were are three Rottweilers (hence the name). Kassie and Molly are our Farm Brittanies, and we had Ginger and Katrina before we owned the farm.
